ELLA H. GLICK

Ella Harriet Glick, daughter of David Brubaker and Anna Martin Brubaker, was born at Smithville, Ohio, September 19, 1870; died at the Mennonite Old People’s Home near Rittman, Ohio, September 20, 1951, aged 81 years and one day. In childhood she united with the Mennonite church and remained a faithful member throughout her life.

On February 20, 1908, she was united in marriage to L. S. Glick, who preceded her in death a year ago. After their marriage they moved to Minot, North Dakota where her husband was ordained to the ministry and strved [sic] the church there and at other places in that capacity the rest of his life. She was a faithful companion to her husband in this calling and a tender and affectionate mother to her step-sons.

She leaves to mourn her departure two step sons, Elmer of Hubbard Oregon, and Andrew of Minot N.D., and one foster son, Samuel Erb, of Calif. She also leaves one brother, Amandus Brubaker of Elida, Ohio; two sisters, Clara (Mrs. Ray Hackman) of Sterling, Ohio, and Minnie (Mrs. I. L Yoder) of Clarence Center, New York, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Crown Hill church in charge of Bro. Noah Hilty, assisted by Bro. I. W. Royer of Orrville, Ohio. Interment in adjoining cemeterey [sic].
