● Charles Vernon Glassburn, 80, of Harper, brother of Ada Glassburn of Newton, died Oct. 22 at Harper. Funeral services were held Oct. 24 at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, Harper, with Stan Howerton and Sanford Hartzler officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Harper. Other survivors include four sons, one daughter, one brother, five other sisters, 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
