MAHLON GINGERICH

Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill Mennonite Church on Saturday, Aug. 16, for Mahlon D. Gingerich, 51, of Shedd Rd., Middlefield, Ohio. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He died in Lakeside hospital Aug. 13.

Mr. Gingerich was born in Middlefield in 1906 and lived there all his life. He was the son of Daniel Gingerich.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mahala Yoder, whom he married in 1927, eight children and eight grandchildren.

Two sons, William of Middlefield and Ray of Farmington, are married as are two daughters, Sarah Marie Detwiler of Middlefield and Barbara Ann Lepplemeir of Chester.

Four children, Catherine Eileen, Betty June, Mahlon Jr. and Dennis David live at home.

Mr. Gingerich was a farmer and occasionally did carpentry.
