— Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, March 23, at the First Mennonite church in Berne, Ind., for Simon Gilliom, 84 year old pioneer of that community who died there on Thursday, March 21. Mr. Gilliom was founder of the Gilliom Lumber Company, a firm with which he was associated for 50 years. Rev. Olin Krehbiel, pastor of the church was in charge of the services.
