ABRAM P. GIESBRECHT

Abram P. Giesbrecht of Winkler died May 31, 1964 at the Labor Home for the Aged in Morden, 79 years. Rev. David Dyck of Newton Siding, Wiilliam Wiebe of Morden and Rev. H. P. Harder, Winkler were the officiating ministers at the funeral service held in the Winkler church, June 3.

Abram P. Giesbrecht was born, the eldest son to Peter Giesbrechts in 1884 in the village of Lichtenau, South Russia.

Surviving are 5 sons, 5 daughters-in-law and 18 grandchildren, and his wife, Marie (nee Bergen).

Brother Giesbrecht and his family have lived in Hochfeld and Newton Siding before retiring to Winkler, in 1944.
