MRS. FLORENCE GERING
Florence Waltner Gering, daughter of John and Mary Schrag Waltner, was born June20, 1903, at Odessa, Wash. upon her confession of faith, she was baptized June 24,1917, and became a member of the Menno Mennonite Church, Ritzville, where she remained a faithful member until her death.
On Nov. 26, 1929, she was united in marriage to Leon Gering with whom she shared life's joys and sorrows for 28 years.
She passed on to her eternal reward at their home in Ritzville on Friday, July 18, after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Leon; four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Rose Wedel of Lindsay, Calif., Mrs. Ella Dyck, Mrs. Hilda Gering, Mrs. Lillian Jantz, all of Ritzville, Carl Waltner of Dallas, Oregon, and Walter Waltner of Ritzville; and three nieces and five nephews.
