Wayne George, 60, of Wakarusa died March 28 at his home. He had been ill with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Bollman; two daughters, Jane George and Sandy (Mrs. Duane) Casteel, both of Wakarusa; two sons, Jim of Wakarusa and Steve of Middlebury; his mother, Mabel George; six grandchildren and three brothers. Funeral services were held at Wakarus Church of the Brethren, where he was a member. He was a World War II veteran and was self-employed as a timber buyer.
