— Relatives here were shocked to receive word of the sudden death of Steiner F. Geiger, 47, of Green Springs, Ohio on Sunday, Dec. 30. Mr. Geiger was principal of the Green Springs high school. Death was evidently due to heart attack, since he was found dead in bed by his wife. Funeral services were held at Green Springs on Wednesday forenoon, Jan. 2, and in the afternoon at Bluffton, where burial also took place. Mr. Geiger is surivived [sic] by his wife and four children; his mother, Mrs. Mary Geiger of North Newton, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. E. L. Harshbarger and Mrs. J. Winfield Fretz, both of North newton; Mrs. Karl Nordstrom, Lexington, Mass., and Lt. Com. Ivan Geiger, New London, Conn.
