Boy Steps Into Path of Car

Archbold, Ohio. — Funeral services for Wayne Irvin Gearig, 3 who was killed on the highway near his home, took place April 28 at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite at Pettisville, Ministers P. F. Haynes and Glenn Litwiller officiating.

Four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gearig had been in the field where their father was working and were walking along the road toward their home when Wayne stepped from the group into the path of a car driven by Wayne Grieser.

Surviving in addition to the parents arc four brothers, three sisters, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrrs.[sic'Italic text] C. L. Gehrig, Pettisville, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Schneider, Sr., of Ithaca, Mich.
