HERBERT EARL GAEDE

Herbert Earl Gaede, son of A. A. and Ernestine Gaede, was born on April 30, 1907 at Hooker, Okla. where he also spent his early years.

On Oct. 5, 1935, he was united in marriage to Martha Shroeder, and for 24 years it was their privilege to share joy and sorrow. To this union were born three children. For about 10 years the family made their home in Kansas, and then moved to the Fairview and Cleo Springs, Okla. community.

The husband and father suddenly passed away on Jan. 11, 1960. He attained the age of 52 years, eight months, and 12 days. His health had failed for several years and on Nov. 18, 1958, he had to submit to an emergency stomach operation from which he never completely recovered.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife Martha; two sons, Harold and Glen, and one daughter, Shirley, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ernestine Gaede of Fairview, Okla.; one brother, Clarence Gaede of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Linda, Mrs. Harry Wichert of Fairview, Okla. and Dorothy, Mrs. Simon Warkentine of isabella, Okla.;and many other friends and relatives. His father and two brothers, Arnold and Arthur, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Jan. 15, 1960 in the Saron Mennonite Church, Orienta, Okla., Rev. A. C. Siebert officiating.
