HILLSBORO RETIRED FARMER DIED SUDDENLY

Hillsboro, Kansas. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church here on Friday afternoon, March 5, for P. J. Gaeddert, 77, who passed away suddenly of a heart attack while walking home from the business district on Tuesday. Rev. H. T. Unruh, the local pastor, and Rev. A. G. Schmidt of Medford, Okla. officiated at the services.

Mr. Gaeddert came to this country from Russia in the 70's and farmed in Oklahoma and Canada before moving to this community 26 years ago. He is survived by his wife and one son, R. A. Gaeddert of Hutchinson.
