By noon they were in Geary, Okla., where they visited for several hours with the Jacob Martens family, — Mrs. Martens being a daughter of G. B. Kliewers. By evening they arrived at Corn, Okla., where they stayed all night with Jacob Kliewer, a brother. There they also visited with Mrs. Henry Ratzlaf, whose husband was a brother of Rev. Abr. Ratzlaff.

The funeral services were held in the Herold church of which the deceased was a member. The pastor Rev. J. H. Janzen preached in German, Rev. Henry Hege of Gotebo spoke in English.

After the funeral the group visited with Henry Kliewers, another brother. The night they spent at Gotebo with Peter Kliewers — also a brother. On Monday they made the return trip, stopping again at Geary. By 11 P. M. Monday night they were in Newton.
