— Willard Funk, ten year old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Funk of Goessel, died at the Bethesda Hospital last Wednesday, death resulting from a ruptured appendix. The lad had faithfully assisted his father with the harvest, until he was hindered because of a pain in his side. Immediate medical care was given him, but an operation showed a ruptured appendix and death followed a few days later. Funeral services were held at the Goessel Mennonite church last Sunday afternoon.
