• Cornelius F. Funk, 76, a retired farmer and resident of the Bethesda Home at Goessel, died Feb. 10 at the Bethesda Hospital. He was a member of the Goessel Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon. Rev. Henry Goossen, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Funk farmed in the Goessel community most of his life, moving to the Home in January 1971. He leaves his wife, Katherine, of Goessel; a son, Marvin, of Route 2, Newton; two daughter, Mrs. Delbert Landes of Wichita and Mrs. Everett Van Tassel of Culver City, Calif.; five grandchildren; two brothers, William Funk and John J. Funk, both of Hillsboro; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Pankratz of Hillsboro.
