They moved to Yarrow, B.C., in 1937, moving later to Aldergrove, B.C., and finally, upon retirement, to Clearbrook, B.C. They spent the recent years in the Tabor Home in Clearbrook due to failing health.

She received Christ as her Saviour in her early years, and was baptized in 1934, becoming a member of the Glenbush Menno nite Brethren Church. She was committed to her Lord and will be remembered for her desire to serve her family, friends and neighbours.
