— Joseph D. Fry, one of the oldest settlers in the Amish community at Yoder, Kansas, died there march 27 at the age of 87 years. He had come to Kansas from Indiana in 1893 and lived in the same home near Yoder a full half century. besides farming, he worked also as cabinet maker. Many coffins used for burials in the community were made by him.
