CHILD FATALLY INJURED
Blair, Ontario. — Walter Froese, nine year old son of Fred and Luise [sic Louise] Froese, lost his life in a distressing accident when he was struck by a car while on the way to school on May 3. He had run after a ball which he was tossing back and forth with other children when the fast-driving car suddenly came over the hill. “Mama” was the last word the boy spoke before he died.
The grief-stricken parents are among the new immigrants who arrived here this spring.
