MRS. MARIA FROESE

Maria Froese, late of 2636 James St., Clearbrook, B.C., passed away in the MSA General Hospital on January 24. Mrs. Froese was born in South Russia in 1885 and came to Canada 42 years ago. She had lived in British Columbia for the last 23 years. Funeral services were held on January 28 in the Clearbrook MB Church with H. G. Thielman and H. Unger officiating. Interment was in the Hazelwood cemetery. Surviving are her husband Franz, three sons, Dietrich Neufeld, Ohio, Henry H. Neufeld, Chilliwack and John Neufeld, Victoria, B.C.; three daughters Mrs. J. (Elizabeth) Janzen, Mrs. H. (Helen) Hiebert, Clearbrook, and Mrs. Charles (Annie) Olsen, Calgary, as well as six step-children, 23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
