FARM HAND KILLED IN TRACTOR UPSET
Cypress, Texas. — A65-year-old farm hand was killed in a “freak” accident on the Carl Liere farm near Satsuma Nov. 4.
Walter Fritz of Cypress was driving a tractor with a drill and dirt packer attached when it went off a bridge, pinning him under the packer. There were no witnesses, and deputies were unable to explain why the tractor turned off the bridge.
