INJURIES FATAL TO FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD AT CORN, OKLAHOMA

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services for Lorene Friesen, five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Friesen of Clinton, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here on Sunday afternoon, December 9.

The little girl was injured about the head and face when she was crushed by a truck loaded with feed which was backed through a gate at her home.

She was taken to the Clinton hospital where she never regained consciousness. Death came on Thursday evening, December 6, about eight hours after the accident.

The services were in charge of Rev. J. K. Warkentin, who was assisted by Rev. J. P. Stobbe. Rev. Henry Hege spoke at the home. Music was given by the deceased’s Sunday School class and a ladies’ double trio.
