Two Brothers Killed As Tractor Overturns Near Arborg, Man.
Steinbach, Manitoba. — A tractor accident near Arborg, man., about 160 miles north of Winnipeg, claimed the lives of Alfred Friesen, 12, and his brother Johnny, 6, sons of Rev. and Mrs. Henry P. Friesen, it has been learned here.
Funeral services were to be held Nov. 24 at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, Morweena, Man., of which the father is pastor. The family formerly resided in the Blumenort District near Steinbach. The present home is 10 miles north of Arborg.
It was reported that the tractor operated by Alfred Friesen overturned into a drainage ditch at a road intersection, pinning the two boys underneath. A third son, Melvin, escaped injury.
