YOUNG FARMER KILLED WHEN TRACTOR SKIDS ON SLIPPERY HIGHWAY
Steinbach, Man. — A tractor accident on a snow-covered road Nov. 23 resulted in almost instant death for George K. Friesen, 23-year-old farmer of the Grunthal district.
The young man and his brother were pulling an empty trailer when the tractor went out of control and skidded into the ditch. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dave Friesen who farm near Grunthal.
