Wayland Retired Farmer Dies

Wayland, Iowa. — Funeral services for Christian J. Freyenberger, 86, native and lifelong resident here, were held at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. He had been a member of this church for 70 years.

Mr. Freyenberger engaged in farming most of his life, except for three years when he and his wife were in charge of the Mennonite Children’s Home in Kansas City, Kan. He died May 15.
