Marion, S. D. — The collision of a car and a pick-up truck at an intersection of township roads near here on Dec. 18 resulted in instant death for Ray Freese of rural Parker, driver of the car.
Kermit Schrag of Marion, driver of the truck, was taken to the Freeman hospital for treatment of a broken collar bone and head lacerations.
Both vehicles were demolished, and the tank on the truck was hurled 60 feet into a nearby field.
