Manford Freed, 86, of Ind. 19, Wakarusa, died March 28 at LuAnn Nursing Home in Nappanee, where he had resided four years. He is survived by two daughters, Evelyn (Mrs. Alvin) Pletcher of Syracuse and Clara (Mrs. Graham) Rush of Torrence, Calif.; two sons, Everett and Keith, both of Wakarus; seven children and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Holdeman Mennonite Church, where he was a member, with Russell Krabill and Dave Dyck officiating.
