16 FOOT FALL TO BARN FLOOR PROVES FATAL TO FARMER

Lancaster, Pa. — A badly fractured skull suffered in a 16-foot fall from a barn loft proved fatal to Benjamin L. Fisher, 53, of Honey Brook at St. Josephs hospital here on June 26. He fell June 24 while working alone in his son's barn and was found by members of the family.

Funeral services were held on June 29, with burial in the newly acquired burial grounds for the Amish of that section. It was the first burial in the new cemetery.

He leaves his wife, one son, John L. Fisher of Cupola, and step-mother, Mrs. Susie King Fisher. He had operated a large dairy farm east of Honey Brook.
