NINE-YEAR-OLD BOY DIES UNDER WHEELS OF LOADED FARM WAGON

Lancaster, Pa. — Funeral services were held at Stumptown Mennonite Church on Oct. 30 for Clair Felpel, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Felpel of Route 4, Lancaster, who was instantly killed in a corn harvesting accident.

The lad apparently tried to jump onto the tractor-drawn wagon loaded with corn when he slipped and fell, one wheel passing over his neck.

He was a third grade student at the Locust Grove Mennonite School and attended Mellinger's Sunday school.
