ARON FEHR

Aron Fehr was born to David and Elizabeth Fehr on February 23, 1930 at Hague, Sask. At the age of two he moved with his parents to Waldheim, Sask., and approximately ten years later to Virgil, Ont. As a young lad he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour during an evangelistic campaign conducted in Waldheim by Rev. John Parschauer and Rev. Robins. In 1950 he was baptized upon his confession of faith and accepted into the fellowship of the St, Catharines Mennonite Brethren Church.

He was married to Mary Benio of Bonnyville, Alta., in July, 1955, a marriage that was blessed with five children. For a number of years they lived in Saskatoon where he was employed as a trucker. In 1964 they took up a homestead in the La-corey district in northern Alberta. To supplement the family's meagre income, Aron did some logging in the High Prairie district some 350 miles west of their home. It was here that he met a sudden death as a result of an accident while felling trees,
