Nicholas J. Fehderau

Nicholas J. Fehderau of Tabor Manor, St. Catharines passed away Nov. 16. He was born June 25, 1904 to Jacob and Maria Fehderau in the Militopler region, Ukraine. Soon after, the family moved from their estate to Neu Halbstadt, Molotschna. He immigrated to Canada in 1924. He was a charter member of Kitchener (Ont.) MB Church and served on church council for almost 40 years. He also directed the church choir 1931-58. His wife Louise passed away in 1987, and his health gradually failed. Predeceased also by 2 brothers and 1 sister, he is survived by his children Lillian Dyck, Harold, Elenore Fast and Rita Willms; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters.
