MRS. ARNOLD FAY

Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist church in Sidney, Mont. for Mrs. Arnold Fay, 48, who died Wednesday at the Community Memorial Hospital in Sidney. Death was due to cancer. Rev. Jacob Ehman, pastor, officiated.

Mrs. Fay was born at Marion, S. D., January 25, 1908, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Deckert. She came to the Richey area when only two years old in 1910 and the family homesteaded at South Valley. She grew up in that community and on Feb. 13, 1929, she married Arnold Fay at Glendive.

They lived on her parents' homestead until 1937 when they went to Idaho, where they lived at Aberdeen for four years, returning to the Richey area for a short time in 1941. the next year they moved to their present home in Sidney. Mr. Fay has been employed as custodian and repairman at the Lalonde Hotel.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Irvin of Sidney and Alvin in the U. S. Air Force; six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Webb, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Roy Parten, Mrs. Herbert Damm, Mrs. Vance Fisher, Sharon, Janice and Rita, all of Sidney; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Deckert, Richey; two brothers, Ellies Deckert and Albert Deckert, both of Sidney; four sisters, Mrs. Louis Janke, Underwood, N. D., Mrs. Raymond Senner, Bloomfield, Mrs. Chas. Keeland, Richey, and Mrs. Wayne Reed, Melville; and five grandchildren.
