Mt. Lake, Minn., May 22. — Mrs. Peter Fast, aged eighty-five, was laid to rest at services in the Bruderthaler church Tuesday afternoon. Death same in the Old Peoples' Home here, where she had been living the past several years, on Friday.
The deceased was born in South Russia in 1844. She was married to Peter Fast in 1867, and came to this country in 1874, settling forty miles north of Yankton, S. D. In 1899 they moved to Mountain Lake. Her husband passed away in 1908, and since 1918 she has lived with her children. The last three years she spent in the Old People's Home here. She leaves to mourn her death her son, Peter Fast, of this city, two grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. She reached the age of 85 years, 5 months and one day. — Observer.
