HENRY G. FAST

Henry G. Fast, 58, passed away suddenly at his home, Kingsburg, Calif., on Nov. 20, 1961, from an apparent heart attack. Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at the Zion Mennonite Brethren Church, of which he was a member. Officiating were Rev. Wesley Hofer and Rev. Victor Becker.

A native of Texas, he had also lived in Oklahoma and Inman, Kan., where he was converted, baptized and joined the church. He with his family came to the Dinuba, Calif. area in 1944.

Mr. and Mrs. Fast were married about four months short of 25 years.

On the morning of Nov. 20 he XXX helped to gather cotton with XXX otton loader, working from XXX to 12 noon. He became ill and lay down at home. Medical aid was called for, but he died before the doctor arrived.

The day before, Sunday, Nov. 10, he had assisted in communion services. He was prepared to meet his Maker.

He is survived by his widow, Kathryn; four sons, Philip, Henry, Jr., Sam and Paul, all of Dinuba; two daughters, Mrs. Rachel Dann of South Dakota, Mrs. Elizabeth Weed of Virginia; one grandchild; three brothers, Pete and Dave of Inman, Kan, and Abe of Newton, Kan.; three sisters, Mrs. Jacob Ratzlaff of Shafter, Mary Fast of San Jose and Katherine Fast of Stockton. — The Bereavd Family.
