Funeral services were held June 2 at the Gospel Church for Mrs. Helena Fast, 86. She had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Village since May of this year. Her husband, John Fast, Jr. who died in 1973, and she had farmed near Butterfield. Survivors include a son, one stepson, three grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
