ELIZABETH FAST

Mrs. Elizabeth Fast, 66, of 38644 Old Yale Road, Abbotsford, B.C., passed away on July 27. She died suddenly after a heart attack. The funeral was in the Arnold (B.C.) Mennonite Brethren Church. John J. Rempel, Rev. Gustav Ratzlaff and Rev. C. D. Toews ministered with the spoken Word at the funeral. Mrs. Fast was born in Herzenberg, South Russia in 1900 and there spent her youth. In 1921 she was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren church. She was married to Abram Fast in 1921.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Abram; a son Abram of East Chilliwack, B.C.; daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoare of Vancouver and Mrs. Nettie Janzen of Port Moody, B.C.; two sisters in Russia and eight grandchildren.
