Mrs. James Farley
MARION—Mrs. Barbara Farley, Marion County Clerk, died Tuesday in Newton where she had been hospitalized for two weeks following a heart attack.
Services will be held May 1 at 2 p. m. in the Florence Christian Church. The Marion County Court House will be closed from 1:30-3:30 p. m. for the services.
Prior to assuming the office of County Clerk, Mrs. Farley was a longtime employee and editor of the Florence Bulletin. She was born May 4, 1922. She was a lifetime resident of Florence with her husband, Jim. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, two sisters, a brother and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Heart Fund and the First Christian Church of Florence.
