LATE GERTRUDE V. EYMANN
INSTRUCTOR FOR TEN YEARS AT ONTARIO, CALIF.

Ontario, Calif., July 31. — Miss Gertrude V. Eymann, who for 10 years was an instructor at the Grove building of the Ontario elementary school system, died last night at her home, 814 Washington boulevard, Upland, following a long illness, at the age of 48 years.

A native of Moundridge, Kan., Miss Eymann came to California 40 years ago and moved to Upland after one year's residence in Reedley. She was a member of the Upland Mennonite church. Prior to her public school work, she was employed for several years at the Upland Commercial National bank. She was active in church musical circles and in young people's work.

Surviving the instructor are five sisters, the Mesdames A. J. Ruth, Paul Schowalter and Edna Harms, Upland, Harry Ledig, Alta Loma and W. R. Goerz, Sacramento; a brother C. C. Eymann, Long Beach, and 23 nieces and nephews. -- Ontario Daily Report.

Funeral services for Miss Eymann were held at the Upland Mennonite church, conducted by Rev. Earl Salzman.
