Long-Time Resident Of Kansas Called

Moundridge, Kansas. — G. L. Ewy, a resident of Kansas since his migration from Austria as a child, died at his home here June 30 following a stroke of paralysis. He had been in ill health for several years.

Born in Austria on March 20, 1875, he had spent most of his life in the Arlington, Kans. community. He had lived at Moundridge for the past three years.

Funeral services were held at the Arlington Mennonite church on July 2, Rev. John B. Graber officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Matilda; two daughters and four sons; a stepson and stepdaughter; two half-brothers, Dan and Alfred Ewy of Hanston; two half-sisters, Mrs. Katie Hubin of Jetmore and Elizabeth Ewy of Hanston; and 16 grandchildren.
