LEONHARD EWERT
Leonhard Ewert, 82, of 5625 Sophia Street, Vancouver 15, died at the Menno Invalid Home, Clearbrook, B.C. on June 20. Death was due to natural causes. He was born in Neu Halbstadt, Russia on August 6, 1884, and became a member of the church in 1918. By profession he was an engineer.
The funeral was in the Vancouver Mennonite Brethren Church, 43rd and Prince Edward, Rev. D. B. Wiens and Rev. Henry Klassen officiated. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; his children, Rudy and Wilhelm Ewert, Margarete and Theresa Ewert and Mrs. Helen Harder; and 13 grandchildren.
