— At Aldergrow [sic Aldergrove], B. C., the 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ewert was almost instantly killed while on the way home from school several weeks ago. The steering device of the truck on which the lad had accepted a ride home having become out of order, the truck overturned, crushing the boy underneath. he was rushed to Abbotsford, where his father, who was in town on business, was informed of the tragedy. An unusyally large gathering of relatives and friends attended the funeral.
