• Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Ewert, 88, of Lehigh were held Friday afternoon, Nov. 24, at the Lehigh Mennonite Church. Rev. Peter W. Goering, the pastor, officiated. Mrs. Ewert, the former Sara Loewen, was born near Lehigh and was married there to John Ewert in 1915. He died in 1963. Surviving are a son, Harley, of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Roland Duerksen of Lehigh; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Stubby of McPherson and Mrs. Elizabeth Unruh of Newton.
