MRS. SARA ESTRUTH

Sara (Rich) Estruth was born in Belford, France, on October 19, 1873. She came to America in 1884 and settled in Salem, Oregon.

Her father was John Rich, Mennonite and later Baptist preacher of Pratum, Oregon. She married Geo. Estruth of Texas in 1895, and he died in 1919.

After two years in Salem, they moved to Texas, near Sweetwater. She has many relatives and friends at Waco and Cottonwood, Texas. They moved to San Jose, Calif. in 1902, where she raised her family.

She had been an active member of the First Baptist church of San Jose since 1902. It was her desire that her many, friends and relatives rejoice in her home going, which occurred on May 31, 1951.

Survivors include three daughters, four sons, one step-daughter and one step-son, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist church, San Jose, by Rev. Clarence R. Sands, minister.
