Native of Iowa Dies at Elkhart

Elkhart, Ind. — Mrs. Mary Ellen Erb, wife of Marion F. Erb and a resident here the past 34 years, died at an Elkhart convalescent home on June 5. She was 80 years of age.

Funeral services were arranged for June 9 at the Prairie Street Mennonite Church, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Erb was born at Kalona, Iowa on Oct. 25, 1877, and was married to Mr. Erb in 1896. He survives with their four sons and one daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Geo. Miller of Clarion, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Gideon Marner and Mrs. Katie Kinsinger, both of Wellman, Iowa.
