MRS. GERTRUDE EPP

Gertrude Epp nee Penner of Beatrice, Nebr. was born February 14, 1881, and received her education in the Church School. Later she graduated from high school in 1901. She was baptized upon the confession of her faith on May 30, 1898.

She taught school for a number of years after which she received nurses training and ministered to the sick for many years. On May 21, 1918, she was united in marriage with Gustav Epp.

In 1923 a sickness manifested itself in her which became more intense. On March 6, 1943, her husband died in an accident. After this she received the special loving care of her sister Agatha, who moved to Beatrice with her in 1945.

On June 26, 1949, she was relieved of her extended suffering. She reached the age of 68 years, four months and 12 days. She leaves four sisters, one brother, many relatives and friends.
