Tragic Accident Takes A Life Near Wichita.

A tragic accident which resulted in the death of C. P. Epp of Fairview, Okla., occurred near Wichita last Saturday morning. A press report gives the following details of the accident: "C. P. Epp, 55, of Fairview, Okla., was killed almost instantly, and his wife, and W. F. Just, Colllinsville, Okla., were injured seriously this morning when their automobile overturned six miles south of here. A. P. Epp, brother of the dead man, suffered minor cuts and bruises.

"Deputy sheriffs said C. P. Epp, who was driving, swerved the car to avoid striking a woman who ran across the highway. he died from a compound fracture of the skull before an ambulance could reach the scene. The party was enroute to a Bible conference of the Mennonite church at Hillsboro, Kansas."

Mr. Epp and Mr. Just have acquaintances living near Newton and Hillsboro.
