MRS. MARGARET ENSZ

Mrs. Margaret Ensz, daughter of Cornelius and Marie Wall Jantzen, was born on March 6, 1894 on a farm near Plymouth, Neb. When she was nine her mother passed away. In 1905 a new mother came to the home who surrounded her and her two sisters with loving care.

She attended public and parochial school where her Uncle J. K. Penner taught her the Bible truths and sacred songs.

On June 4, 1911 she was baptized upon the confession of her faith and became a member of the First Mennonite Church of Beatrice, Neb.

She was married to Bernhard Ensz on Dec. 13, 1917 at the family home and together they lived on a farm all their married life. They shared joys and sorrows for nearly 49 years.

She was a lover of nature, especially flowers. She had a God-given talent to make everything attractive and beautiful.

Although she knew the seriousness of her illness, her quiet trust and complete submission to God's will was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She passed away quietly on Oct. 10, 1966 at the age of 72 years, seven months and four days.

Those remaining to cherish the memory of her life are her husband; one son, Robert and wife Edna, Beatrice; three daughters, Edna and husband Henry Goossen of Taegu, Korea, Helen and husband Oscar Entz of Newton, kan., Amy and husband Leroy Regier of Burrton, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; one brother and seven sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother who died in infancy.
