ISAAC W. ENSZ


Isaac William Ensz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac I. Ensz, was born on March 5, 1893 near Marion, S. D. In 1901 he moved with his parents to Weber, Wash. where his father had a homestead. Later they moved to Tiflis, Wash.

He was baptized on June 4, 1911 at Ruff, Wash. by Rev. Paul Aeschliman. He was a lifelong member of the Menno Mennonite Church. He loved the Lord and was not ashamed to witness for his Master. He had a burden for lost souls.

For many years he operated a garage in Lind. In reent years he made his home with his sister and brother-in-law, the Wilford Edens, at Valleyford, Wash.

In 1951 he suffered a heart attack and later emphysema. The Lord called him home on June 15 while he was a patient in the hospital at Spokane.

He is survived by one sister and her husband, Eva and Wilford Eden of Valleyford; three nephews, Richard, Loren and Vern Eden of Valleyford and Spokane; Mrs. Caroline Wooters of Valleyford, and numerous cousins and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 20, at the Menno Mennonite Church of Ritzville, Wash., Rev. Harris Waltner officiating.
