Herman Enns

Herman Enns, son of Cornelius and Elizabeth Enns, was born in Gnadenfeld, Russia, Oct. 5, 1867. He died June 30, 1931. He attained the age of 63 years, 8 months and 13 days.

At the age of twelve he came to America with his parents settling on a farm near Inman in 1879. At the age of 21 he went to Oregon where he stayed for 1 year. He was baptized in 1889 and joined the Hebron church.

Being of artistic temperament, overstudy made it necessary for him to be committed to an asylum in 1893. Here he remained until his death.

He is survived by his mother, 7 brothers. His father, 4 brothers and 3 sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held from the home of his brother, D. C. Enns last Saturday morning. Rev. P. E. Frantz of Buhler officiated. A mixed quartet rendered the musical selections during the services. Interment was in the Inman cemetery.
