MRS. MARIA ELIAS
Mrs. Maria Elias of Winkler died at the age of 89 years. Funeral services were held on Nov. 11 in the Winkler M.B. Church, with Rev. H. Lenzman and Rev. G. D. Pries officiating. Mrs. Elias had been on a farm near Winkler for 35 years, but moved to town when her husband died in 1941. She died in Salem Rome for the Aged after a lengthy illness. Surviving her are 1 son, 3 daughters, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grand-children, and 1 great-great grandchild. One son and 4 daughters predeceased her.
