— In Manitoba, at the Lowe Farm Bergthaler church, funeral services were held on February 24 for John Eidse, who died on February 22 as a result of a heart attack. Mr. Eidse, a well-known farmer of this community, had suffered from a weak heart for some time. Officiating ministers at the funeral were Rev. P. J. Gerbrandt, H. P. Heinricht and P. Friesen. The church was filled beyond capacity with sorrowing relatives and friends.
