JACOB J. EICHER
Jacob J. Eicher was born Aug. 5, 1873, son of Jacob and Marie (Schwartz) Eicher; died Oct. 5, 1959 at the age of 86 years on the farm near Berne, Ind. where he was born and lived his entire life.
On June 9, 1935 father was married to Rose Graber, who survives him. Also surviving are six sons, John E. and Sam E. of Allen county, Ind., Joseph E., at whose home he died, Amos E., Benjamin E., and Menno E., all of Berne; and five daughters, Mrs. Menno (Elizabeth) Graber of Hicksville, Ohio, Mrs. Joseph (Salome) Roth of Corfu, New York, Mrs. Albert (Frances) Coblentz of Geneva, ind., Mrs. Clarence (Catherine) Miller of Baltic, Ohio, and Mrs. Sam L. (Anna) Schwartz of Berne.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish church.
Funeral services were held at the home, and burial was at the Schwartz cemetery. — A Daughter.
